While the Spicy Awards™ are an initiative of Spice Without Borders, nominations are open globally and are not limited to members of the Spice Without Borders ecosystem.
We welcome nominations from anywhere in the world, recognising changemakers whose work is creating positive social and environmental impact regardless of where they live or work.
Why the Spicy Awards Exist
The Spicy Awards™ exist to identify, recognise, celebrate, and elevate changemakers creating measurable impact in their communities and beyond. Through a transparent, independent, and merit-based process, the Awards honour excellence across diverse fields of social and environmental impact.

The Spicy Awards™ are committed to recognizing the evolving ways individuals and organizations create positive social and environmental impact.
To ensure the Awards remain relevant and responsive to emerging trends, societal needs, and the changing global changemaker landscape, award categories may be reviewed periodically by the Spicy Awards™ Awarding Board.
Any additions, revisions, mergers, or retirements of award categories will apply only to future award cycles and will not affect categories for awards that have already opened for nominations.

Who Can Be Nominated?
The Spicy Awards™ welcome nominations from across the globe. All nominations are reviewed in accordance with the Spicy Awards™ Rules and Procedures. Category interpretation, eligibility, exceptional circumstances, and any matters relating to the integrity of the Awards are determined by the Spicy Awards™ Awarding Board, whose decisions are final.

From Nomination to Recognition.
The Spicy Awards™ recognize changemakers through a transparent, independent, and merit-based selection process designed to uphold fairness, integrity, and credibility.
Nominations Open
Individuals and organisations from anywhere in the world submit nominations or applications across the eligible award categories.
Eligibility Review
Each nomination is reviewed to ensure it meets the published eligibility requirements and category criteria.
Independent Jury Assessment
Eligible nominations are evaluated by an independent panel of jurors using predefined scoring criteria that assess impact, leadership, innovation, sustainability, and relevance to the respective award category.
Awarding Board Review
The Spicy Awards™ Awarding Board oversees the integrity of the Awards process, reviews the jury outcomes, addresses any exceptional matters in accordance with the Rules and Procedures, and confirms the final recipients.
Recognition
Recipients are announced and honoured during the annual Spicy Awards™ Ceremony, celebrating changemakers whose work is creating meaningful social and environmental impact.
