The Inaugural Spicy Awards 2026 is more than an awards ceremony—it’s a one-day celebration of courage, creativity, collaboration, and community. It is where Africa’s grassroots changemakers come together to connect, learn, showcase their work, and celebrate those transforming lives from the margins.
On 12 September 2026 at Mageuzi Hub, Nairobi, Kenya, the Spicy Awards Experience brings together activists, creatives, entrepreneurs, initiators, innovators, development partners, investors, policymakers, media, and supporters for a day filled with inspiration, meaningful conversations, and unforgettable moments.
While the public programme takes place over one day, nominees are invited to arrive one or two days earlier for orientation, networking, media engagements, rehearsals, professional photography, and exclusive pre-event activities designed to help them connect and make the most of the experience.
